Independent Rotary Projects
A number of international Rotary Clubs have a long history of supporting Myanmar. Here are a few that we are aware of so far.
The Myanmar Water Project was started in 2005 by JT Warring. There are currently 26 water management systems completed in orphanages, schools, monasteries. The project is partnered with Myanmar Compassion Project and Save the Children. It costs US$ 9,000 to build one water system. Their goal is to build 8 water systems a year.
